2022 Maruti Brezza will go on sale merely a fortnight after the introduction of 2022 Hyundai Venue
A video we have here clearly shows that the production of the 2022 Maruti Brezza is underway in full swing as the first batch looks ready to be shipped to the dealerships. The new Maruti Brezza is about to launch in our market to challenge the hot-selling Tata Nexon. The segment is bound to get incredibly competitive as Hyundai has already launched the refreshed Venue. The images of the production-ready Brezza had already been leaked a long time ago, but this time around, we have a video that captures various colours and variants of the upcoming sub-compact SUV. The unveiling will take place in early July, which is when we will also review the new model.

2022 Maruti Brezza At Dealership Yard – Video
The video has been shared by a popular YouTuber on his channel, Harsh VLOGS. In the video, the white-coloured based model of the new Brezza is seen parked with both front, and rear views. At the front, the Brezza will get a chrome slab on the grille along with sleek LED DRLs integrated into the headlight cluster. We will also see redesigned front bumper, and a massive skid plate area giving it a muscular appearance. On the sides, there would be black side pillars, prominent wheel arches, alloy wheels (black in the dual-tone paint version), roof rails and an integrated roof spoiler.

At the rear, the 2022 Maruti Brezza features slim split-LED taillamps that the YouTuber thinks are like the Land Rover. It is not too hard to see the similarity. In this base model, there are no defoggers or wipers at the rear, which is expected. In addition, the video captures four colours of the Vitara including White, Red, Silver and Dual-Tone Red with a Black roof. The dual-tone version could be the top trim that would also have the black ORVMs and black alloys. We will have to wait just a bit longer to see the entire colour offerings.

Specs
The engine specifications of the 2022 Maruti Brezza have high chances to be same as those of the recently launched Ertiga and XL6 which have a 1.5-litre petrol engine with Smart Hybrid technology. This engine makes 103 hp and 137 Nm of peak power and torque. There are the options of a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The prices of the current Brezza range from Rs 7.84 lakh to Rs 11.49 lakh, ex-showroom. We could expect the new Brezza to start at around Rs 8 lakh and go a little above what the top trim current retails for. It would be interesting to see if the prices of the 2022 Hyundai Venue will have any bearing on the prices of the Brezza.
