The Kia Sonet went on sale in the country last year and has been a strong contender in the highly popular sub-4-metre SUV segment that includes best-sellers like the Hyundai Venue and the Maruti Vitara Brezza
South Korean automaker, Kia launched its all-new sub-4-meter SUV, the Sonet, in our market last year. It is one of the most popular sub-compact SUVs in our market. The Kia Sonet is known among buyers for its modern looks, feature-loaded cabin and aggressive price tag. Recently, the carmaker has launched the updated variant of Sonet and Seltos in our market. In the sub-4-meter SUV space, Sonet rivals with the likes of Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue and Mahindra XUV300. Earlier, we have seen several customized examples of Sonet. Here’s India’s first-ever Sonet, which features bright orange wrap along with a few other customizations.

One of the major attractions of this Kia Sonet is the orange coloured wrap. This is the entry-level HTE trim of the SUV, which does not come loaded with many features. The vlogger said that he wants to modify the SUV as per his preference that’s why he opted for this variant. The vlogger bought the SUV in an Intense Red colour shade and got it wrapped in aftermarket bright orange wrap. This aftermarket wrap job looks pretty clean, and this colour shade is capable of turning heads. Other than this, this Kia Sonet also features gloss black wrap on the front grille.

The base trim of the SUV is not offered with fog lamps, but the owner bought the original Kia Sonet projector fog lamps. Moreover, the HTE trim of the SUV is offered with 15-inch steel wheels. But, the owner has upgraded it with 16-inch units and bought the two-tone wheel cover, which looks like alloy wheels. Moreover, the roof of the car now gets roof rails and a shark fin antenna. In the video, the vlogger says that accessories like a spoiler along with the front and the rear bumper guard have been recently installed. To make the Kia Sonet base trim look premium, the SUV features chrome garnish on door handles and rain visors.
