The first crash of the new Mahindra XUV3XO has been reported. XUV3XO is the newest Mahindra SUV in our market. It was launched a few weeks ago. It is the replacement for the XUV300. With the new XUV3XO, there are tons of modern equipment including a few first-in-segment amenities to entice more customers. This is necessary since the competition in this compact SUV segment is sky-high. All major car marques offer their products in this space. In any case, let us look at the details of the first-ever accident recorded of the Mahindra XUV3XO.
First Crash of Mahindra XUV3XO
This video comes from Prateek Singh on YouTube. This channel features content around road safety and performances of cars during unfortunate scenarios. On this occasion, a case has emerged from Trichy, Tamil Nadu. As per the information in the video, this incident took place at a junction. It looks like the XUV3XO was taking a turn and a Maruti Celerio hit it from the side. Perhaps, the driver of the XUV3XO wasn’t paying attention before executing the turn and the driver of the Celerio was not able to control the situation.
In any case, the two experienced a significant collision. The side profile of the XUV3XO is evidently damaged. The tyre has come off and the door panels have deformed. On the other hand, the front section of the Maruti Celerio has also suffered substantial damage. The bumper, radiator, grille, bonnet, headlamps, windshield, fender, etc. have been affected. Thankfully, no one was critically injured in this crash. The fact that road users lack the patience to wait for others to pass at a junction is a common reason for many accidents on our roads on a daily basis.
Our View
I have reported countless cases of people flouting traffic regulations and getting in trouble thereafter. Traffic rules are in place to avoid such incidents. But people are often in a hurry and they disregard the signs like slowing down while approaching a junction, etc. That leads to undesirable scenarios. I would like to urge our readers to ensure that you follow the traffic protocols vehemently. Also, encourage everyone around you to do the same. Finally, if you see someone breaking the law or driving recklessly, you must inform the authorities so that appropriate action can be taken against them.
