In an exclusive report, the first batch of the Mahindra Scorpio N reaches dealers. This includes the top trim Z8 Luxury variants in large numbers. Also, there are both 2WD and 4WD configurations in the first lot. Mahindra must’ve planned the deliveries according to the bookings and demand to prevent long waiting periods. Most people might have opted for the 4WD version which is available at the top trim level.

The Scorpio N comes in the 4WD system with the Z8L variant in manual and automatic variants only. A lot of buyers are looking at the 4WD Scorpio N as an affordable alternative to the now exorbitantly expensive Toyota Fortuner. This could be the people who wanted a Ford Endeavour but since it is no more produced in India, they might well opt for something like a Scorpio. There are manual and automatic transmission options to choose from along with the 4×4 drivetrain. The prices of the Mahindra Scorpio N range between Rs 11.99 lakh and Rs 23.90 lakh, ex-showroom.
