Also, Creta became the best selling car of India for the month of May. This is the first time that no Maruti car is in the first position.
Here are some pictures of the first accident of 2020 Hyundai Creta. As you can see, the car is just a day old and unfortunately, it had to go through this so quickly. The side fender has come out completely with some damage to the bonnet and body cladding as well. The wheels and bumper have been left unaffected by this accident. This proves that the new 2020 Hyundai Creta is indeed stronger than its previous generation and has a much better build quality.
The owner has complained that the airbags did not open up and claims that it is a manufacturing defect. However, to clarify, this is the mid spec or base spec trim which comes with dual front airbags. So the impact needs to be from the front as the sensors are located there. Even if it had side airbags, the sensors are usually located on the doors or between front and rear door.
Hyundai claims that the build quality of new Creta is so good that it can withstand the power of two elephants on it. A very good initiative from the manufacturer to start working towards stronger cars. More people now understand the safety ratings and NCAP crash tests and want cars which have either 4 stars or 5-star rating.
