LaFerrari was launched back in 2013 by the Italian supercar giant and was a preferred choice for a whole bunch of driving enthusiast celebrities across the globe for a decade.
The Ferrari hypercar (LaFerrari replacement) was recently spotted under heavy camouflage. However, it looks like the hypercar experienced a breakdown while undergoing serious testing. The Italian auto giant is performing intensive testing of the hypercar for quite some time now. In fact, the test mule has been spotted on many occasions outside the company’s Maranello facility in Italy. The silhouette indicates that it is a Ferrari unmistakably.

Ferrari Hypercar (LaFerrari replacement) Spotted
This post has been shared by supercar.fails on Instagram. It captures the heavily-camouflaged hypercar on the side of the road. The driver is seen standing out of the car as the car looks broken down. In fact, the caption reads, “Ferrari hyper prototype breaks down in Italy”. Someone has made the video clip while they are driving in the adjacent lane from inside their car. It looks like the car gave up on the side of the highway.

Judging by the silhouette, the hypercar is carrying a muscular appearance with pronounced high-riding haunches, large gaps at the front for air intake which is a critical aspect of aerodynamics in any hypercar, this trend has been extended toward the rear as well with a massive diffuser at to exert downforce for those high-speed runs, a prominent splitter at the front, sporty twin-exhaust setup for practical application as well as throaty growl which is a trait of any hypercar from Ferrari and more.

Apart from that, there is a massive fixed wing at the rear which is not very Ferrari-like. In any case, this hypercar is bound to replace the LaFerrari which had a 6.3-litre V12 engine under the hood developing a mind-numbing 715 kW and 900 Nm of peak power and torque. Hence, the powertrain of this new hypercar is most likely to carry a hybrid engine that will produce power and torque figures at least similar to that or perhaps higher than the LaFerrari. Reportedly, only 1,000 units will ever be produced and the deliveries might commence somewhere around 2025.
