India will host its first Formula 1 Grand Prix in the year 2011. Earlier schedules for 30th October 2011 at the Buddh International circuit in Noida, the GP has been delayed by some weeks. The re-scheduling has taken place because of the political unrest in Bahrin. The 2011 Grand Prix was to start with Bahrin which could not take place in time and it has now been schedules on 30th Oct 2011 on which the India Grand Prix was originally scheduled.
The tentative date for the Indian grand prix is 4th December (will most probably be first week of Dec 2011). FIA, the controlling authority for F1 in an official statement quoted:
The Bahrain Grand Prix will take place on 30 October, replacing the Indian Grand Prix, which will now become the final round of the 2011 Championship, combined with the FIA Annual General Assembly and Prize-Giving Gala
The re-scheduling has taken place after a meeting of FIA with World Motor Sports Council at Barcelona in Spain on June 3, 2011. The venue for Indian GP remains same with the tickets prices etc. also remaining same. The only thing which is expected to change is the weather as there may be some chill and fog in the air during Winter season in Noida which may add thrill to the game, also with the race timings usually around afternoon, it will be a pleasant weather for the drivers as well as the spectators alike.
