Finally, Mahindra Mojo is set to receive an ABS update. The bike has started reaching dealerships and will be launched after the second week of June 2019.
Our dealership sources have revealed that Mahindra Mojo ABS will be available after the second week of this month. The updated sports tourer was recently spotted at a dealership with ABS.
Further, our sources have given us an idea of its on-road cost. Mojo ABS might is likely to be priced around Rs 2.20 Lakhs (On-road price), demanding a hike of nearly Rs 16,000 over the non-ABS price of Rs 1.79 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
Both the UT and XT variants are likely to get ABS, while the former variant might be launched a bit later. However, it has been spied in the UT300 variant, which is cheaper one of both.

Mahindra has had tough times with Mojo. In its earlier months of launch, it performed decently in the market. As time went, the sales drastically went down. Now, Mahindra barely manages to sell 30-40 units of the bike on an average.
Mahindra Mojo uses a 295cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine in two states of tuning. The XT variant delivers 26 BHP and 30 Nm of peak torque, while the UT variant produces 22.7 BHP and 25.2 Nm.
For suspension XT variant uses USD Forks and gas-charged preload adjustable monoshocks at the back. UT300 uses telescopic forks instead. Both the bikes get disc brakes at both the ends. A dual-channel ABS is likely to come as a standard fitment.

The UT variant will continue with its MRF Zapper tires, while the more premium variant will go with the Pirelli Rosso Diablo tires. The XT is available with dual-silencer system, while the UT goes with a single one.
Mahindra Mojo will go against the likes of Bajaj Dominar, Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa Motorcycles and KTM Duke 250. Jawa bikes borrow some of their equipment from Mojo, but with heavy revision.
