Honda is offering great discounts for most of the models in its line-up for October 2020. Honda was offering great discounts on most of their models last month as well but this month brings in more cars with more discounts. With the festive season nearing, almost every manufacturer is rolling out huge discounts on their cars. In order to attract more customers, Honda is offering great discounts on the Amaze, WR-V, Jazz and the Civic this month and here’s what you can enjoy on each model.
Honda Civic – Benefits of up to Rs 2.5 lakh
The Honda Civic is currently the brand’s flagship product in India and it sits in the rather uncompetitive executive sedan segment where its only other rival is the Hyundai Elantra. Styling has to be one of the highlights of the Civic with its distinctive fastback-like tail and overall sporty design. It also has an excellent ride and handling balance with a very pliant suspension set-up and yet good handling.
The Civic however isn’t an ideal chauffeur driven car and neither are its powertrains – petrol-CVT and diesel-MT – the most exciting of the lot. The Civic balances that by being decently premium and recently, Honda also launched the BS6 complaint diesel version of the Civic in the VX and ZX trim-levels with minimal price hike. The discounts of the Honda Civic continue to be the same as last month – you can enjoy cash discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh on all petrol variants of the Civic while the diesel can be had with discounts of up to Rs 2.5 lakh. Even the new-gen City can be had with Rs 30,000 benefits under the car exchange scheme.

Honda Amaze – Benefits of up to Rs 47,000
The biggest strength of the second-gen Honda Amaze that has been on sale since 2018 is its interior space, making it an ideal chauffeur driven car. In fact, it is one of the most spacious sub-compact sedans. It is also the only sub-compact sedan to offer a CVT automatic with both its 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options.
The drawbacks of the Honda Amaze will be its slightly compromised equipment list and also slightly higher NVH levels inside the cabin. If you are planning to buy the Amaze, you can enjoy Rs 12,000 worth of extended warranty and up to Rs 15,000 in exchange benefits. Cash discounts on the petrol versions of the Amaze are up to Rs 20,000 while cash discounts on the diesel variants are up to Rs 10,000. Total benefits that stands at Rs 47,000.

Honda WR-V and Jazz – Benefits of up to Rs 40,000
Honda launched the BS6 WR-V with a facelift sometime ago with a few additions on the features front as well. It is currently available with a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 100hp 1.5-litre diesel engine, both paired to a manual gearbox. Unfortunately, there’s no automatic gearbox option of the BS6 WR-V. Although space continues to remain a strong point of the WR-V, its quite less equipped when compared to its rivals.
The BS6 Jazz was also given a similar treatment with a mild makeover and some new features. Although the Jazz does not feature a diesel engine anymore, it continues with its 1.2L petrol engine with both manual and automatic gearboxes. If you are looking to buy the new WR-V or the Jazz, you can enjoy cash discounts of up to Rs 25,000 across all variants of both the cars. Additionally, you can also avail and exchange bonus of Rs 15,00 if you are exchanging your old vehicle.
