”Can I try it with an arrow?” Mr Rogan asked. ”Yeah, it’ll be fine,” Elon Musk replied. ”Maybe I’ll drive back with an arrow sticking out of my car,” the CEO said. ”I bet I can get it in there,” Mr Rogan replied. ”I’ll bet you can’t. I’ll bet you a dollar,” said Mr Musk. In a widely circulated video, Joe Rogan is observed firing an arrow at close range at the stainless steel body of the Tesla Cybertruck, assessing its durability. Instead of creating a hole in the Cybertruck’s side, the arrow caused only a minor dent and damaged the arrowhead. Meanwhile, Elon Musk can be seen in the background, casually enjoying a cigar before inspecting the vehicle.
Tesla Cybertruck Allegedly Boasts Bulletproof Panels
During the podcast, the CEO emphasized that the Cybertruck would feature bulletproof steel panels, and customers would have the option to buy bulletproof glass for the vehicle. He also described how the panels had undergone testing with various firearms, including a Tommy gun, a 45-millimeter gun, and a 9-millimeter gun. He also mentioned that the “beast mode” version of the Cybertruck is aiming for a 0-60 mph (96 km/h) time of “under three seconds.” Notably, the Cybertruck boasts a range of 250–500 miles (400–800 km) and estimated 0 to 60 mph times ranging from 2.9 to 6.5 seconds.
