Elephant Chases Hyundai i20 in Karnataka
This post comes from waseem.blr on Instagram. The visuals show a disturbing incident. There is a maroon i20 Active on the road. As per the information in the video clip, this case comes from Bandipura National Park in Karnataka. A wild elephant seems to have gone berserk. He is chasing the tourists who are trying to take a selfie. After running for a while, one person fell on the side of the road. The elephant kicked him while he was on the ground. He was seen sliding himself into the bushes on the side. Finally, the animal returned.

This is a sad case of a wild animal hurting a person. However, one must be prepared for such eventualities if they are going into the animal territory. There are numerous cases of animals causing harm to humans on jungle safaris. We must understand that we are entering their habitat. It is not a picnic spot. We must prioritize our safety. The animal behaviour can be unpredictable. While elephants are calm most of the time, but they can get agitated.
