Tata Harrier Owner Wastes Diesel
This post comes from viral_.bhaiya on Instagram. It captures a cringy video clip of an elderly man doing an insane act. He takes the nozzle in his hands to fill diesel in his SUV. However, he keeps going even after the tank is full. One could clearly see diesel overflowing and coming out of the fuel tank. It falls on the ground. In the latter part of the video, the petrol pump attendant is seen cleaning the old man’s vehicle. He is rubbing the fuel off the body of the vehicle. This has really infuriated the netizens, as seen in the comments.

While everyone is free to do whatever they want, there are certainly some boundaries and caveats with this statement. Things like fossil fuels are not the private property of any single individual. These are natural resources and must be used judiciously. Wasting such precious resources for the purpose of entertainment is not acceptable. That is what the netizens also mention in the comments. We have to draw a line somewhere so that such idiotic acts don’t get promoted on social media platforms. Needless to say, such acts are even huge safety hazards.

What We Think
This is not the first time we are reporting such a stupid act. It is rather fashionable today to come up with unique ways to create Reels and short-format content for social media. In a bid to stand apart from the crowd, people are adopting questionable strategies. We must not promote such content. Also, this must be criticized by the viewers so that the algorithm of these apps understands that such content is not appreciated by the masses. Let us pledge to not support any content that is irresponsible and causing harm to people or the environment in any way, shape or form.
