In a rather inspiring tale, an elderly couple has been on a world tour from India in a Toyota Fortuner. Now, if you lurk around on YouTube too much, you must’ve come across many vloggers in the last couple of years who took their private vehicles to other countries. In fact, they even showcase their entire journey including the struggles, challenges and beautiful moments from the trip. This is yet another such case. Having said that, this is a much more inspiring story since the couple on this arduous odyssey is quite old.
Elderly Couple on World Tour in Toyota Fortuner
The duo documents its travel details in the form of vlogs on their YouTube channel – The Turban Traveller. If you follow the latest content on their channel, they are in London. In fact, they have already done 69 episodes which is a testament to their commitment. Until now, they have covered 87 countries and their aim is to visit 193 nations. Mr. Amarjeet Singh Chawla is 65 years of age. He has been travelling with his better half for over 3 months now. They have stuck stickers and graphics on their Toyota Fortuner to tell everybody about their mission.
They often meet local people in every country and spread the message of loving humanity. In fact, they believe in the philosophy that the entire humanity is one big family. Furthermore, the duo is on a mission to give and receive a million free hugs. They often interact with locals in every nation and motivate them with their thoughts and deeds. Apart from that, they also give useful information regarding local traffic rules, migration laws, and other regulations in each country. This provides critical information to the viewers who wish to do something similar. In essence, this is one YouTube channel that is documenting a journey of pure love and empathy.
My View
I must admit I have seen many YouTubers do similar things or people taking on the challenge of travelling from one country to another in a different part of the world. However, to see such a wholesome family out and about inspiring the world with positivity and inclusiveness is commendable. I advise our readers to experience their approach towards life via their compelling videos. I wish this lovely couple a beautiful trip around the world and would like to give a shoutout to the vehicle they have chosen to do this in.
