The Ducati Streetfighter V4 will be powered by the same engine as in the Panigale V4 but in a slightly different state of tune. It will be no less mad though.
Ducati has dropped a teaser video of the upcoming Streetfighter V4 ahead of its global unveil on October 23. The teaser gives out some key specifications of the motorcycle while also teasing the face with a glimpse of the headlamps of this new motorcycle. This Streetfighter V4 is essentially a naked sibling of Panigale V4 and could very well be the maddest naked motorcycle from the Italian manufacturer.
So, what are the key specs? The Streetfighter V4 will be powered by the same 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale 90° V4 engine that powers the Panigale V4, but, in a slightly different state of tune. The Streetfighter V4 makes peak power of 208PS at a slightly lower rpm of 12,750. In comparison, the Panigale V4 makes peak power of 214PS at 13,000 rpm.
The Streetfighter V4 also features ‘Bigplane Wings’ for better aerodynamics and also the Ducati’s entire electronic suite from the Panigale V4. You would of course need the entire electronic suite to tame this mad motorcycle. The motorcycle is also expected to be equipped with a full-colour TFT screen, which should also pair with Ducati’s multimedia system. Oh, and do you not already love the wing shaped LED DRLs?
