The Ducati Streetfighter V4 will use the same 1,100 cc engine from the Panigale V4, sans all the faring. It will be showcased at the 2019 EICMA Motorcycle Show.
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 was always in the coming after the launch of the Panigale V4. It has been spied testing several times in the last few months in Europe and now Ducati has finally released some photographs of the Streetfighter V4 prototype, thus confirming the coming of the motorcycle.
The motorcycle looks drop dead gorgeous. Its immediately identifiable as a Ducati. The fuel tank is beautifully sculpted with a sharp front end and the tail section is straight from the Panigale V4. It still has its camouflage on but its certainly a head-turner and the sight of the naked engine and exhaust pipes is something else, really.
The Streetfighter V4 will use the same 1,100 cc engine from the Panigale V4, sans all the faring. It also gets higher and wider handlebars. The engine gets aerodynamic profiles around it which have been specifically designed for Streetfighter V4. The prototype is seen wearing a pixelated livery which has been designed by Ducati’s Centro Stile. The best part about the livery is that it does not essentially hide the lines of the motorcycle but makes it fairly evident how the real motorcycle will look like.

The Streetfighter V4 will be seen in action at the 2019 Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb where it will be ridden by Carlin Dunne, a former Pikes Peak Champion. The ‘Race to the Clouds’ should be the ideal testing grounds for the Streetfighter V4, believes Ducati, as it is essentially for the street and not a track monster like the Panigale.
Claudio Domenicali, CEO of Ducati said,”The Streetfighter V4 will be one of the stars of the Ducati World Premiere 2020. The Streetfighter V4 is the Panigale for road riding; so there was no better stage than the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb for what will be the highest performance Streetfighter ever put into production.”

The final production version of the Streetfighter V4 will be showcased at the 2019 EICMA motorcycle show and it will go on sale from March 2020. Considering that Ducati already sells the Panigale V4 in India, it is most likely that this too will make it to our shores. Well, let’s definitely hope so.
