Drunk Policeman in Tata Safari
This video comes from safecars_india on Instagram. It captures a rather sad situation. The driver of a Maruti Dzire is recording this scene. He shows that the driver of the Tata Safari hit his parked car. After interacting with the driver, he sees that the driver is in a completely inebriated state. He is barely able to stand on his feet. In fact, he is so drunk that he is not even able to respond to anything that is happening around him. Interestingly, the Tata Harrier belongs to a government official.

As per the details in the caption, this incident comes from Hazratganj in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. If this is the condition of the Police in the capital of the state, we could very well imagine the state in other areas. There are plenty of onlookers who are equally shocked to see this. They are asking the Dzire driver to record the entire incident so that he can use it as evidence later on.

We lose thousands of lives each year in road accidents. Most of them take place due to driver negligence. In this case, the people who are responsible for ensuring that the law and order is strictly enforced are the ones breaking the law. That is the most painful part.
