In a shocking incident, a drunk BMW driver hits a couple on the road at high speed. Such cases are quite prevalent among the owners of premium luxury cars since most of them are filthy rich and have no fear of the law. That warrants them permission to do whatever they want on the road without worrying about the consequences. That is exactly what transpired in this latest case in Ahmedabad, Gujarat where a young man was driving a BMW SUV. Here are the details.

BMW Driver Hits Couple
This video has been uploaded by Prateek Singh on YouTube. This channel keeps featuring content around the performances of popular cars during unfortunate scenarios and road safety. As per the information in the video, the driver was constantly uploading his videos on his Instagram stories while travelling. Those videos showed that he was travelling at really high speeds reaching upto 199 km/h. We know that no road allows that kind of speed for any vehicle.

The video also mentions that the BMW ended up hitting a car as the driver lost control and then hit a couple on the side of the road. As per the reports, the duo was able to survive as the speed at the time time of impact was not that high and they ended up landing on the mud. The condition of the luxury SUV is quite terrible. This is informed by the sides including the tyres, headlamps, fenders, bonnet and bumper. The young driver fled the scene after hitting the couple and drinks were found in the car.

After a few days of investigation, he was arrested from the neighbouring state of Rajasthan. We don’t know the exact details of whether or not he was punished for his criminal offence. However, we can only hope that the investigation reaches its logical conclusion so that people understand that no one is above the law.
