This latest accident is extremely unfortunate where a drug-addict passenger caused the Tata Tigor to crash resulting in the demise of 2 people. Tigor is a popular compact sedan in our market. It has been successful in our market due to its impressive 4-star safety rating at this price point. In countless real-life crashes, it has saved the lives of many passengers. However, at times, the conditions are such that no car can save the occupants. This is one such scenario.

Drug-Addict Passenger Causes Tigor Crash
This video has been uploaded by Prateek Singh on his YouTube channel. He posts regular content in order to showcase the performance of popular cars in unfortunate scenarios. As per the information in the video, this accident has been reported from Malegaon in Maharashtra. Reportedly, a doctor was taking a drug addict to the hospital. He had tied the patient onto the front seat. Also, the Tigor was being driven at a relatively high speed on the highway.

However, the patient suddenly became uncontrolled and pulled the steering of the moving car. The doctor was not able to control the vehicle in time because of the high speed. As a result, the Tigor hit the truck coming from the opposite lane with great force. This even caused the truck to lose control and it ended up in the field on the side of the road. However, the damage to the Tigor was beyond repair. The entire front section of the sedan is totalled. Unfortunately, both passengers lost their lives on the spot.

Prevent Overspeeding
While there isn’t much one can do about such truly unlucky cases, we must make it a point to prevent overspeeding at all costs. In this case, had the speed been under control, maybe the lives of the passengers could’ve been saved. Overspeeding continues to be the major cause of most accidents in our country.
