India is full of bizarre cases of people utilizing their vehicles in the most obscure ways and this is a prime example of that undesirable trend.
A strange case surfaces online where a driverless Mahindra Scorpio N is seen ploughing a field. Scorpio is an iconic name in Mahindra’s portfolio. It has been the workhorse for the Indian auto giant for the longest time. In its latest avatar, the Scorpio N caters to those buyers who want the luxury avatar of the regular Scorpio. Hence, there is a distinct bifurcation between Scorpio N and Scorpio Classic. A man is seen abusing the Scorpio N in this latest stunt.
Driverless Mahindra Scorpio N Ploughs Field
This post comes from rahul_raosaheb on Instagram. The caption of the post reads, “Mahindra Scorpio N tractor ko bhi fail krte hue [Mahindra Scorpio N even defeating a tractor]”. While this may have gone viral, but I must admit that this is not something any Scorpio N owner should ever attempt. Despite being a tough SUV, the Scorpio N is not meant for such absurd activities. In fact, no SUV, however hardcore if might be, should ever be used like this. The job of ploughing field is strictly meant for agricultural machines like a tractor.
However, some people are so impressed by the ruggedness of Mahindra SUVs that they end up performing questionable acts with these. Jokes apart, I would like to advise our readers to never get involved in such activities. What is even more bizarre is the fact that no one is sitting inside the SUV while it is pulling the equipment. The owner must’ve used some cheeky way to make the SUV crawl. In any case, this makes the entire scenario even more dangerous. If something were to appear in front of the SUV, there is no driver to prevent the SUV from hitting that obstacle. Hence, the SUV could incur significant damage. As you would imagine, this is quite a stupid thing to attempt on multiple counts.
Our View
I must mention here that personal vehicles are not meant to be treated in this manner. While people might post such content for social media engagement, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to do such activities with their personal vehicles. It is bound to cause long-term damage to the vehicle. Make sure to consume such content only for entertainment and not for encouragement. Also, you must ensure that no one around you ends up doing these acts.
