Mahindra Scorpio
The next-gen Mahindra Scorpio has been spotted testing multiple times now. The launch of the veteran SUV might be near. The upcoming Mahindra Scorpio will likely get a 2.2-litre diesel engine making 132 hp and a 2.0-litre direct-injection turbo petrol (from the Mahindra’s own mStallion family), making a decent 152 hp. It will come with 6-speed manual or automatic transmission options for both engines. There might well be the option of a 4×4 drive system as well. As such, Scorpio doesn’t have any direct rival considering the audiences it caters to. However, it still falls under the category of the mid-size SUV segment that is more inclined towards practicality and utility than luxury.
