In a bizarre turn of events, I came across a video where the Diwali rockets were being fired from a Mahindra Scorpio’s roof. Diwali season is that time of the year when everyone is in a festive mood. There are firecrackers everywhere. It is a symbol of good luck, prosperity and the victory of light over darkness. However, some idiots take things to a new level by performing activities which jeopardize their own safety, as well as the safety of everyone around them. This is one such case. Let us take a look at the details of this latest case.

Diwali Rockets Fired From Mahindra Scorpio’s Roof
I must say that this video is ultra-cringy and a menace to social media. It is going viral for all the wrong reasons. It comes from sagarcasm on Instagram. The visuals depict a rather shocking incident. A black Mahindra Scorpio Classic is plying on the road. However, the owner has installed the arrangement to mount fire shots on its roof. He/She set it on fire and started driving the car. As a result, the moving SUV is firing rockets in the middle of the highway. The video captures the entire saga clearly.

People inside the cars moving adjacent to the Scorpio N are making videos of this stupid act. In fact, some people in other cars are hanging out of the sunroofs as well. Needless to say, all this is illegal. As per the Motor Vehicle laws, passengers are not allowed to stand out of the sunroof of a moving car since it could block the vision of the other car drivers behind them. In addition, no law would ever allow you to use your vehicle as the base from which you could fire rockets while on the move. Therefore, I am shocked to see the audacity and lunacy of people.

What We Think
This is, unfortunately, not the first time I am reporting such a weird act. Our roads are full of absolute morons who put their own lives, as well as the lives of others in danger to fulfil their whims and fancies. It is high time we start reporting such miscreants to the authorities. We lose lakhs of lives in road crashes each year. The reason for most of them is disregarding the traffic regulations. Let us pledge to be responsible drivers and never attempt such mindless acts.
