Tata Motors have rolled out several financing offers and discounts on BS6 cars like the Tiago, Tigor and Harrier for May 2020 as lockdown rules relax and people again have started buying cars.
With the lockdown rules gradually seeing a relaxation, several carmakers have already resumed operations at dealerships and service centers in the orange and green zones across the country. Amidst this, Tata Motors is offering several lucrative discounts for May 2020 to be availed by customers on models like the Harrier, Tiago and Tigor. These benefits can also be availed from Tata Motor’s online sales platforms. Here’s a detailed look at the same.
Tata Tigor
The Tata Tigor is powered by a BS6 complaint 1.2L petrol engine that produces 86bhp and is available with both manual and AMT gearbox options. The Tigor recently got a mid-life facelift and now it looks like a very styling compact sedan, perhaps the best looking in the segment. It is already a very good value-for-money product and now, Tata motors is offering benefits and discounts up to Rs 40,000 on the Tigor, including an exchange bonus and a cash discount. The Tata Tigor rivals the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura and Ford Aspire.
Tata Tiago
Just like the Tigor, Tata updated the Tiago with a mid-life facelift along with its sedan counterpart. Mechanically, both cars are the same and this too comes powered by a 86bhp 1.2L petrol engine along with a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox option. The Tiago competes with the Maruti Suzuki WagonR and the Hyundai Santro. The Tiago has a similar value-for-money appeal like the Tigor. Tata is allowing cash discounts and exchange offers worth 25,000 on the Tiago this month. Tata is also offering customized EMI plans on the Tiago for better financial assistance.

Tata Harrier
The Harrier has been a real success for Tata Motors and is currently the company’s flagship. The Harrier recently got its BS6 update with which it went more powerful and now produces 170hp from its 2.0L diesel engine. It also gets the option of a six-speed automatic gearbox along with subtle cosmetic tweaks and a lot more equipment on the interiors. The Harrier sits in one of the most competitive mid-size SUV segment to rival the Hector, Seltos and Creta and is available with total benefits worth Rs 30,000, including an exchange bonus.
