Iconic director Hansal Mehta recently purchased an ostentatious Mercedes-Benz GLS. The luxury SUV is the pinnacle of opulence when it comes to exotic SUVs from the German carmaker. Hansal Mehta is one of the biggest and the most successful directors in India. He commenced his career with the television show Khana Khazana. Thereafter, he began his journey into cinema and made blockbusters like Aligarh, Lootere, Faraaz, Omerta, and Scoop. In fact, for Shahid, he bagged the prestigious National Film Award for Best Direction. He also directed the hit web series Scam 1992 for which he received Filmfare OTT Award. With numerous other acclaims to his name, he is a renowned face in the country.

The details of this news emerge from autohangar on Instagram. The image captures the director taking the keys to his swanky new luxury SUV. With the keys, the dealership staff is handing over a gift hamper to Hansal as well. This is, sort of, a tradition, especially when you buy a high-end opulent automobile. In addition to that, you would often witness the cake-cutting ceremony organized by the dealership to make the entire experience memorable for the car buyers. While we don’t see it in the pics, I am certain that the staff would’ve arranged all those shenanigans.

Mercedes-Benz GLS is the S-Class of SUVs. Hence, it offers a myriad of modern tech and convenience amenities to pamper the occupants.
