We have seen tons of unfortunate incidents with cars that have just been taken out off the delivery floor by amateur drivers.
The delivery of a Maruti Ignis goes wrong as it crashes moments after the ceremony. Ignis is a crossover hatchback that is quite popular among youngsters in our market. It has a tall boy stance that mimics a micro-SUV. That is what people admire about it. However, it doesn’t sell that well (compared to other Maruti Suzuki cars) because it, essentially, rivals its own siblings in addition to the mighty popular Tata Punch. Nevertheless, there are enough buyers to keep the product going. Here are the details of this latest crash.

While the exact cause of the crash is not known, it looks like the driver pressed the accelerator instead of the brakes. As a result, the Ignis ends up hitting a shop whose shutter was closed. The shutter is seen damaged and there was a glass door behind it which was broken too. In addition, the front section of the Ignis has sustained severe damage as well. The bumper of the car, the headlights, the front grille, the bonnet and the tyres have experienced a lot of damage.

Road Safety
It is rather common that people think that they will learn to drive in their brand-new cars. But that is the very reason why we have seen so many road accidents of brand-new cars in recent times. One must understand, that if you are an amateur driver and start driving a new car from the showroom, you won’t be able to make necessary adjustments to steering, clutch, accelerator, brake, etc. Therefore, the chances of accidents are high. Make sure to only start driving when you are confident and have someone around if you are not.
