Datsun is going to launch the GO and GO+ CVT in India in the coming days. It will offer the CVT gearbox on two of the top-spec trims, for both the cars.
Datsun GO and GO+ will get new CVT gearboxes, making them the most affordable to get one. The launch of the same is scheduled to happen probably next week, but we have already driven both of them.
A fresh report suggests that the Datsun GO CVT and GO+ CVT will come on the top-end two variants, (T) and T(O). Both the variants differ from each other, just on the basis of a couple of features.
Also, both the cars are going to get a 9 BHP rise in power. It currently uses a 1.2 Litre three-cylinder petrol engine, that produces 75 BHP and 104 Nm of peak torque. As of now, there’s only a 5-speed manual gearbox on offer.
