Datsun GO and Datsun GO+ now come with Vehicle Dynamic Control Technology as a safety feature.
Launched in October 2018, the facelift for Datsun GO and Datsun GO+ saw many design changes and the basic features like ABS with EBD, dual airbags, brake assist, traction control system and rear parking sensors for all trims. Now the Japanese automaker has introduced VDC at no additional cost. Also, a new Vivid Blue colour option is available in both cars.
Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) Technology basically focuses on preventing under and oversteer by reducing engine speed and applying brakes individually on specific wheels. This is the first-in-class segment feature for both the hatchback Datsun GO and MPV Datsun GO+

Furthermore, how the added safety feature helps in making your driving experience better and safer. The system monitors steering wheel position, wheel speed via onboard sensors present in the car to provide electronic stability control.
The styling on the exterior has been neatly done and the car now comes with LED DRL’s, body-coloured ORVM’s and it sits on new 14-inch alloy wheels. The car also gets tweaked front grille and bumpers. Top variants of the cars get keyless entry.
The interiors face the same set of combinations and colour schemes but now gets a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It supports connectivity like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and comes with voice command system.
Datsun GO and GO+ are powered by the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. It generates 68 bhp of power at 5000 rpm and delivers a peak torque of 103 Nm at 4000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The fuel efficiency claimed by ARAI is 19.38 kmpl.

The revised safety features come at no additional cost and the car competes with the likes of Renault Kwid, Tata Tiago and Maruti WagonR. The prices for Datsun GO starts at Rs 3.22 lakh for the base trim and goes up to Rs 5.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the top variant.
Similarly, the prices for the MPV, GO+ starts at Rs 3.87 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 5.74 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The New Datsun GO and GO+ are available at all Nissan and Datsun dealerships across India.
