Aftermarket car modifications have been gaining immense popularity in India in the last few years
In this post, we are taking a look at a customized Maruti Alto. In recent times, the inclination of car owners towards modifications has been incredibly strong. Maruti Alto is one of the most successful vehicles in the country. It is generally the first vehicle for a whole bunch of people. Among many reasons, affordability and low running costs are the top factors why people opt for it. That also makes it a default choice for those who wish to experiment with some customizations. Let us glance at the details of this car.
Heavily Customized Maruti Alto
This video stems from Baadshah Abhishek Negi on YouTube. The owner describes the details of his thoroughly modified Maruti Alto. In this video, he installs 15-inch massive JDM alloy wheels on the Alto which he took out from his old Honda City. At present, his Alto boasts 13-inch alloys. Hence, it is a challenging process to install such massive wheels and broad tyres on a car of Alto’s stature. Still, he asks the mechanics to try. As a consequence, they fit in the new wheels which alters the entire appearance of the vehicle. However, this is a problem with steering since the tyre is touching the body of the car.
Apart from that, the owner of this Alto has done some pretty hardcore stuff to make his car stand out. For instance, there are red LED DRLs integrated inside the headlamp cluster which lend it that devilish vibe. Also, the bonnet contains a prominent hood scoop which is reminiscent of racing cars. The bumper bears a splitter which almost touches the ground. However, the biggest talking point of this car has to be its scissor doors. That is something you don’t see every day. Even on the inside, it gets a steering wheel like on racing cars along with tons of other customizations. This makes it one of the most impressive Maruti Altos in the country.
My View
It is fascinating to see how enthusiastic some people are for their vehicles and customizations. Nevertheless, I must mention that most car modifications are illegal in India. Therefore, I would urge our readers to consult the local RTO regarding which things are allowed. That will save you the hassle of dealing with the traffic cops later on. I shall keep an eye out for more such cases in times to come.
