Among the salient features of the full-fairing kit for the Continental and Interceptor 650 is that it doesn’t need any sort of welding. Instead, it’s a bolt-on fitment, which is something that will be appreciated by those sceptical about making major changes to their vehicles. As per the customiser, it takes just about 2 hours to fit this kit. The lightweight fairing is made of Fiber Reinforced Plastic, which is durable and weather resistant. The entire kit comprises the fairing, 5.75-inch headlamp, custom seat panels and underbelly protector. The RE Interceptor and Continental come with a 648-cc parallel air-cooled twin-cylinder engine that produces a healthy 47 hp and 52 Nm of peak power and torque. The transmission duties are carried by a 6-speed slipper clutch gearbox and the top speed is 160 km/h. The prices of the RE Continental GT 650 range from Rs 3.02 lakh to Rs 3.26 lakh, ex-showroom. The RE Interceptor 650 ranges between Rs 2.85 lakh and Rs 3.10 lakh, ex-showroom. It would be interesting to see if this aerodynamically effective Cafe Racer Full Fairing Kit could bump that top speed.
