In this latest crash between Maruti Baleno and Skoda Kushaq, overspeeding is the reason. Baleno is not known for being a rugged and strong vehicle although Maruti has worked on the latest-gen model in this regard. But we will have to wait to know how strong its build quality is only after the crash test has been conducted. On the other hand, Kushaq has a full 5-star safety rating making it one of the safest cars in our market. What happens when these cars are involved in a head-on collision.

Baleno Kushaq Crash Due To Overspeeding
The video has been uploaded by Prateek Singh on his YouTube channel. He posts such content to raise awareness regarding road safety among Indian car owners. In this video, a horrific crash between a Baleno and Kushaq has been reported from Surat, Gujarat. As per the information in the video, 4 people were travelling in Baleno and 5 in Kushaq on a single-lane road. It is reported that the Baleno was being driven at a high speed. As a result, the driver lost control and ended up hitting the Kushaq head-on.

The impact was so brutal that the entire front sections of both these cars are totalled. The bumper, bonnet, headlights, fender, radiator grille and even some parts of the engine bay of both cars are completely destroyed. Unfortunately, the driver of the Baleno lost his life on the spot and others are injured. On the other hand, 3 out of 5 people suffered minor injuries in the Kushaq and 2 are serious. We can only hope that all the injured make a speedy recovery.

Prevent Overspeeding
In conclusion, this incident should serve as a fitting example to highlight the consequences of overspeeding. It is the most common cause of almost all accidents on our roads because of which thousands of lives are lost each year in India alone.
