Instead of the 650 Twins, Royal Enfield offers alloy wheels as an official accessory on Classic 350 and 500. It uses the same unit that comes on Thunderbird X.
A couple of days earlier, we reported that Royal Enfield 650 Twins will soon get alloy wheels as accessories. Instead, the latest spy shots now show that the alloy wheels are already available on the Classic 350 across dealerships.
Till now, alloy wheels were only offered on Thunderbird X series. The same set of alloy wheels are offered on the Classic series. Both the bikes have the same size of tires.
Royal Enfield offers a plethora of official accessories on its models. The parts include windscreens, levers, visual upgrades and luggage panniers. Since all of its bikes are used for touring, it offers many related accessories.

Turns out that Royal Enfield was using the configurator page of 650 Twins for tests. On the website, it shows that the Twins will soon be offered with luggage, electricals and alloy wheel options soon.
Thunderbird 350X and 500X get blacked out alloy wheels with coloured rim line. Since their tire sizes are the same as the Classic 350 and 500, the offered alloy wheels are also the same, just without the rim line colour.
Maintaining spoked rims is easier because of its low costs. However, alloy wheels is available with tubeless tires, while spoke wheels are usually available with tube tires. Anyday, tubeless tires are better.

The after market alloys are always considered dangerous, because they are not tested under different riding conditions. Probably, during hard braking or over speeding, the pressure on the alloys might damage the wheels.
Classic 350 and 500 are offered with luggage panniers, luggage racks, touring seats, engine guards, windshields and a couple of accessories more. On the other hand, the 650 Twins are offered with some visual upgrades.
