The Citroën eC3 comes with only one powertrain, while the Tata Tiago EV comes with two powertrain options divided into medium range and long range. While the former Tiago EV comes with a mid-range electric motor (57PS/143Nm) paired with a 29.2kWh battery pack, the long-range model is offered with either a 19.2kWh (61PS/110Nm) or 24kWh (75PS/114Nm) battery pack. Both the EVs come with a front-wheel-mounted electric motor, but it is the Tiago EV that offers slightly more power, while the Citroën’s powertrain produces significantly higher torque. In terms of on-road performance, the Tata Tiago can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in 6.2 seconds (19.2kWh) and 5.7 seconds (24kWh). On the other hand, the Citroen eC3 can reach 60 kmph in just 6.8 seconds. It takes about an hour for both EV vehicles to go from 10 to 80 percent with a DC fast charger.

There is no doubt that Citroen’s eC3 is bigger than the Tata Tiago EV in every way. The French EV is 212 mm longer, has a 140 mm longer wheelbase, is 56 mm wider and 68 mm taller than the Tiago EV. This results in more cabin generous space than the Tata Tiago EV. The boot of the Citroen is also 75 litres bigger than the Tata EV hatchback. The eC3 gets 15-inch alloy wheels, while the Tiago EV gets smaller 14-inch steel wheels.
