Here is the leaked information from the product presentation ceremony of the Citroen C3 sub-compact SUV slated for launch on July 20.
We have just got our hands on some juicy information on the upcoming small car from Citroen India. Well, it was always known that the Citroen C3 will be sold with a variety of customization options but we’ve finally got the details of these. It must be noted that the C3 will launch on July 20 and will go on to rival everything from a Maruti Swift to a Nissan Magnite. The pre-bookings will open on July 1 as per the details we’ve got in the images sent to us by a little birdie.

3 Customization Packs for Citroen C3
The upcoming small car will be sold with 3 customization packs – Vibe, Elegance and Energy. Using permutations and combinations, there can be a total of 56 customization options through a set of 70 accessories. All of these will be dealer-level fitments. All these will be add-ons that would enable customer to personalize his or her car to the maximum possible level. Additionally, the C3 will be offered with 10 exciting colour combinations with the option of dual-tone roofs. Some of the colour options include Zesty Orange, Platinum Grey, Polar White, and Steel Grey.
Also, the new model will be sold in two trim levels. The fully-loaded model will come equipped with a 10-inch digital infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with easy visibility for all occupants, front and rear USB chargers, wire guide on IP and smartphone storage. It would be the highlight of the Orange textured dashboard. The screen will be a free-standing unit on the centre console.The various walkaround videos of the C3 that we’ve seen so far indicate a funky and bold design which is indicative of the house Citroen. It looks like a miniature version of the C5 Aircross that is already on sale in India.

Specs
Citroen C3 will be offered with two powertrains; a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.2-litre turbo petrol making 82 hp / 115 Nm and 110 hp / 190 Nm of peak power and torque respectively. The former will come mated to a 5-speed manual and the latter will come with a 6-speed manual gearbox. There are no options for any automatic transmission, at least in the beginning. Both these engines boast healthy fuel economy figures of over 19 km/l. The remaining details will be revealed at the launch.
