As per the latest revelation from the French auto giant, the C3 Aircross will offer an impressive mileage of 18.5 km/l. Note that this is the ARAI-certified figure for the manual version. On the other hand, the official mileage figures of the new Seltos with the new 1.5-litre turbo petrol powertrain are 17.7 km/l with the clutch-less manual (iMT) and 17.9 with the quick-shifting and sporty DCT automatic. The C3 Aircross has a distinct edge in this regard.

The Citroen C3 will be equipped with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, producing a respectable 110 hp and 190 Nm of torque. Initially, it will only be available with a 6-speed manual transmission, with the possibility of an automatic option being introduced later on. Note that the C3 Aicross is available only with a turbo petrol mill, atleast in the beginning. Hence, comparing its mileage with the turbo petrol variant of the Seltos reveals that it would be the preferred choice for all those buyers who want the maximum fuel efficiency from their cars. But if you are looking for a NA petrol or a diesel trim, going with the Seltos is the only option you will have. Let us see how well the customers value the mileage figures of the two going forward.
