Citroen C3 Aircross Automatic Review
The C3 Aircross comes with a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. We are able to drive it out on an open stretch of road, as well as mild traffic conditions. This transmission provides a great balance between performance and fuel efficiency. Note that the SUV makes 15 Nm more torque with this automatic transmission in comparison to the manual variant. Hence, there is no shortage of power. In fact, the vehicle feels eager to deliver power at all times. However, the suspension is geared more toward a softer side for maximum comfort. This automatic gearbox performs decently in highway, as well as city conditions.

Author’s Note
We had visited the Citroen dealerships when the C3 Aircross was first launched. The initial response was decent but the customers were demanding an automatic transmission. The French carmaker listened to the feedback and finally brought this gearbox. Note that there are no other changes to either the exterior or interior and features. We shall have to wait for the pricing to see how well the customers receive it.
