Chevrolet Tavera 2012 Neo 3 Model Detailed Price List Announced
Chevrolet Tavera, the very successful MUV was shown the door as soon as the BS IV norms were implemented but since it is an important model, the company immediately started working on a BS IV compliant version of the same.
Instead of developing a new engine the company found it smarter to source engines from Sonalika and finally it launched the 2012 Tavera at the 2012 Auto Expo.
Named as Chevrolet Tavera Neo3, the car combines the handling and comfort of a family car with the performance and ruggedness of an MUV. As per what Chevy says, the revisions made in the car are based solely on customer feedback. So what is new in the Tavera Neo3 ? Let’s find out-
- Firstly the Neo3 gets Chevrolet’s twin-port grille and a bigger Chevrolet bowtie emblem in front as well as in back
- Larger crystal-effect clear lens headlamps with integrated indicator lamps for a bolder and more stylish front look
- Dual tone body color combination offered with the highest variant

Under the hood the car has one BS3 and one BS4 engine option. The Neo3 is being offered with a 2.5 litre direct injection insta-torque turbocharged engine and an all new 2.0 litre BS IV complaint CRDi diesel engine. The pricing has not been announced yet but we expect a hike of a few thousand rupees since the car now gets a BS IV compliant heart.
