General Motors India launched Chevrolet Enjoy Anniversary edition MPV to mark the first year since its introduction in May 2013. On the occasion, GM India President and Managing Director Arvind Saxena said “Chevrolet Enjoy has completed a very successful year of enjoyment on Indian roads”. The latest member of the Enjoy family, the 1st Anniversary Edition will be offered in limited period.
As a part of the celebration the new Edition comes with a loads of goodies aimed at enhancing the cosmetics at both the interior and exteriors of the MPV. These include a chrome kit for the headlamps, tail lamps, door handles and tailgate. Side body decals, OSRVM blinkers, chrome license plate garnish are some of the other touch-ups provided to the edition. The MPV also comes with sporty roof rails and wooden dashboard trims to give the vehicle a sporty stance and ambiance. At a starting price of INR 5.74 lakhs, GM claims that these upgrades and benefits are provided free of cost and are worth upto INR 43,000. 
Mechanically, Enjoy remains the same and will be available in both the petrol and diesel variants. Powered by a 1.3-litre turbocharged DOHC diesel engine producing 74.8 PS @4000 rpm and a 1.4-litre SMARTECH petrol engine producing 100.2 PS @6000 rpm, Enjoy will be available with a choice of seven or eight seats. The MPV will be available in six colours: Velvet Red, Candy White, Switchblade Silver, Seadrift Grey, Caviar Black and Linen Beige.
It is true that the recent competition in the MPV segment has seen Auto giants struggling to dethrone Toyota Innova which inspite of being costlier, has enjoyed a large share in the market. But be it anniversary or regular, GM will not shy away from marketing the the birthday car and hence will launch an integrated marketing campaign to promote it. Since its launch, the Enjoy has sold close to 20,000 units and received four coveted awards from industry experts and consumers making it the most-honoured MPV last year.
