The Paris Motor Show is one of the most prestigious motor shows on the planet earth and every global major is interested in showcasing their upcoming vehicles at such shows since a lot of visitors are attracted towards the innovations and technologies these brands offer.
Chevrolet has unveiled the very first pictures of the Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback which is due to be showcased at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. For the time being, the company has no plans of introducing it in India but for the European market the car will go on sale in 2011 mid.
Wayne Brannon, president and managing director of Chevrolet Europe said ,“We are selling the Cruze in 70 countries around the world and it has recently surpassed the Aveo as our top-selling passenger car nameplate globally.”
Specifications Of Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback
The car will sport the same engine as coming with the Cruze saloon & the Orlando which is available in three variants:
- 1.8 Litre 139 BHP MPFI petrol engine
- 2.0 Litre 129 BHP CRDI diesel engine
- 2.0 Litre 161 BHP CRDI diesel engine
Cargo capacity for the Cruze is nearly 400 Litres and features 60/40 split rear seating. The car is claimed to have a highly stable and solid frame as it has been built using the new Body Frame Integral System(BFI).
Since Chevrolet has no plans of introducing it in India, we are looking forward towards the brand’s plans and wish the company to consider the Indian market soon.
