We all are very much familiar with the Chevrolet Beat, one of the populsr cars in the small car/hatchback segment launched a few years back. But many of you may not be knowing that the same is called as Chevrolet Spark in the US market.
Chevrolet, globally, is celebrating as they have completed an appreciable time in the automotive industry and following the same has come a couple of announcements which could turn out to be important for international markets, including India.

Regarding Chevrolet Spark(Beat here) the company says that soon they will launch a series of new CRDI diesel and MPFI petrol engine between 1 – 1.4 liters capacities in three and four cylinder configurations.
Ford is one of the first manufacturers who came up with Ford EcoBoost Technology engines which are high on efficiency but low on emissions. Chevrolet has also done an appreciable work with ECOTEC range of small engines and now with the expansion of the range the future requirements will be met easily.
That’s not all as the company also promises to bring the 2012 Chevrolet Spark(Beat here) with certain cosmetic upgrades. The front and rear fenders have been redesigned. The air dam at the front has also been reshaped. The grille gets bigger with mildly retouched headlamps, tail lamps and newly styled fog lamp housing.
On the inside there are no major improvements though, it still looks good enough because of its radical designing, Importantly it is a facelifted model of the Spark(Beat here in India) and possibilities are there that soon the style will come to the Indian Beat.
