In a rather shocking instance, a CAT coaching founder is giving away his swanky Jaguar XJL to the 100%iler. CAT is one of the biggest and most challenging examinations in India. It is necessary to get into the top-ranked Business Schools in the country. The most prestigious management institutes which require the CAT score are IIMs. Each year, lakhs of students sit for this exam. The competition is so high that only the absolute cream gets admitted to the top institutions like the IIMs. In fact, even the cutoff for top colleges and universities is 99 percentile. Therefore, achieving the 100 percentile is no mean feat.
CAT Coaching Founder Giving Away His Jaguar XJL
The information regarding this news is being shared on the Facebook page of the coaching centre called iQuanta. Indrajeet Singh is the Founder and CEO of iQuanta. He is known for coming up with such strategies to motivate students. On one previous occasion, he gifted a Royal Enfield Bullet to the CAT 100%iler, Rishi Mittal. Hence, this is not the first time he has decided to come up with something like this. However, the biggest difference is that he is giving away his Rs 2 Crore luxury car this time around. That will surely inspire students to put in extra effort.
Jaguar XJL
The Jaguar XJL has now been discontinued in our market. However, it used to be available in multiple variants in our market. In fact, the prices ranged from Rs 99.56 lakh to Rs 1.97 Crore, ex-showroom. In its most powerful iteration, the luxury saloon had a massive 5.0-litre 8-cylinder supercharged petrol engine which generates an impressive 470 hp and 642 Nm of peak power and torque. The 8-speed automatic transmission is used to power the rear wheels. The vehicle is over 5.25 m long and has a wheelbase of over 3.15 m. Hence, its road presence surely makes the heads turn.

Our View
I believe this is a great way to keep the students motivated. It doesn’t even have to be such extravagant rewards. Even some other prizes to more students can produce the same result. Students are often stressed about getting a high score on the CAT. Hence, if there are such incentives to work hard, they might stay more focused and perform better. In any case, I am not an expert on this matter. Therefore, for someone as unversed as myself, it sure looks like a positive excuse to work extra hard. Let us see how things pan out once the CAT results are announced.
