The eight instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise is all set to hit theatres. As always, it features some exotic and drool-worthy vehicles that will star alongside Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham and the crew. Over the years, the franchise has drifted away from just drag races and car chases. However, they do feature some insane, over the top stunts and chase sequences and beautiful machines to satisfy any car lovers appetite. For the movie, a set specialised machines were built for each character. So, apart from the usual set of muscle cars, supercars and other fancy machines, the movie also features some unique cars customised specifically for the film. Dodge Ice Charger
Vin Diesel’s character will be seen driving this custom 1968 Dodge Charger. Apart from the “Dodge Ice Charger” pictured here, the Trailer also shows Dominic Toretto behind the wheel of the current gen Dodge Challenger among other cars.
Rally Fighter
Dominic’s love interest in the movie, Letty, played by Michelle Rodriguez will be seen piloting this rather interesting looking custom made car called Rally Fighter. If you’re able to figure out what it is based on please do leave a comment. She will also be seen driving a 1966 Corvette Stingray.
Ice Ram
The vehicle of choice for The Rock’s character will be this custom built Ram Truck called Ice Ram. Much like past movies, don’t expect the to see Hobbs getting behind the wheel of fast cars. He’ll be sticking big trucks and SUVs.
Orange Lamborghini Murcielago
Roman’s vehicle of choice is an orange Lamborghini Murcielago. But that’s just for the sequence filmed on ice as can be seen in the trailer. There will be other fancy wheels he’ll be seen driving including the Fast and Furious staple Dodge Challenger.
Ripsaw
Not sure if this one qualifies as a car, but ‘Ripsaw’ here does get a starring role as Tej’s vehicle of choice. This pocket sized tank will be seen in the ice sequence, much like every other car on this list.
The upcoming Fast and Furious film features around 300 cars! All of them have been customised by the same Los Angeles based workshop. The trailer above features many more exotic wheels including the Mercedes-AMG GT. There’s also a Jaguar F-Type in there somewhere and a whole bunch of cars being blown to bits.
