Recently in a press event at New Delhi, India, Renault has revealed its future roadmap for new car launches in India. This event was organized to hand over the keys of the 14 Renault Fluence cars to first 14 buyers in India. There were three top management officials from Renault present at this occasion- Mr. Katsumi Nakamure, Executive Vice President of Asia and Africa Region, Mr. Jerome Stoll, Executive Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing and Mr. Philippe Klein, Executive Vice President of Products, Planning and Programs.
As per the top officials, there will be a total of 5 Renault cars launched by end of 2012 in India. The next upcoming launch in India will be the Renault Koleos which will be launched before the end of 2011. The all new 2012 Renault Duster will be launched in second half of 2012. Also in Jan next year, Auto Expo 2012 Renault will display their small car to compete with the Maruti Swift in India. The car has been designed in India as per Indian needs and will be manufactured in Chennai Renault-Nissan Plant.
