Tata Nano Twist Launched in India
Tata has finally answered the demands of many of it’s customers of launching a power-steering equipped variant of the Nano, by launching the Tata Nano Twist XT. Priced at Rs. 2.36 lakh (ex- showroom Delhi) the XT also gets a new paint-option ‘Dazzle Purple’, a new instrument cluster and key-less entry and exit.

Hero Splendor iSmart details leaked
Details about Hero’s upcoming commuter bike, the Splendor iSmart have been leaked. The bike will be the first in India to get a start-stop system, christened i3S by Hero. It will be marginally costly (about Rs. 2000) than the Splendor and gets a 3-tone paint option along with subtle visual elements to differentiate it from the regular Splendor. Launch expected during the 2014 Auto Expo.

Maruti Celerio interior photo leaked
Interior shots of the Maruti Celerio were leaked this week, showing that the interiors showcased on the 2013 Suzuki A:Wind Concept have been carried over to the production variant without many changes. Though the interior looks pretty premium in terms of quality, space at the rear seems to be identical or a bit more than the Alto 800 at first glance.

Ford EcoSport prices hiked again
Ford has hiked the prices of the EcoSport a second time after it’s launch; prices have gone up by up to Rs. 34,000. The company is facing a production crunch at its Chennai plant and is asking many customers to either choose another model from the Ford lineup or cancel their booking altogether because waiting periods are now extending more than 6 months in many cases.

Honda Amaze SX variant launched
Honda has added a new variant to the Amaze lineup, equipped with both petrol and diesel motors. While the petrol variant costs Rs. 6.23 Lakh, the diesel variant costs 7.22 Lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. Feature wise, the SX variant which sits under the top-end VX variant and gets front dual airbags, ABS+EBD and front seat seat-belt pretensioner as standard.

Hyundai Verna CX variant likely to be added
Hyundai has felt the heat with the launch of the 2014 Honda City, which with it’s 12 variants offers much more than the Hyundai Vern does. Hyundai will soon introduce a new variant to sit in between the SX and EX variant, called the CX, to increase the options customers get to choose from, and in-turn increase it’s appeal.
