Jeep has announced that it is offering heavy discounts of up to Rs 1 Lakh on the BS6 compliant Compass for the month of July.
Jeep has already launched the BS6 compliant Compass and its deliveries have begun for a long time. For the month of July, the manufacturer is offering hefty discounts and offers on the BS6 Compass, up to Rs 1 Lakh. This might actually help buyers who are planning to go for the mid-spec trims.
Jeep is offering an instant cash discount of Rs 40,000, exchange bonus of Rs 30,000, RS 15,000 corporate discount and additional discount on insurance of Rs 15,000. This particular offer comes from the manufacturer, however, you might get even more offers from respective dealerships. That could include accessories or more servicing period.

The prices of Jeep Compass Petrol starts at Rs 16.49 Lakhs up to Rs 21.92 Lakhs, including three variants – Sport, Longitude Plus and Limited Plus. The diesel variants are priced from Rs 17.99 Lakhs up to Rs 24.99 Lakhs (all prices ex-showroom). Compass, is anyhow, pricier when compared to its segment but much more capable.
Compass gets two engine options including a 1.4 Litre turbo petrol and a 2.0 Litre turbo diesel motor. The petrol engine is good for 168 PS and also used to come on the iconic Abarth Punto. The diesel engine produces 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 9-speed AT. The petrol engine comes with a 7-speed DCT gearbox and a 6-speed MT.
Features onboard the little off-roader include Panoramic Sunroof, Rain Sensing Wipers, Automatic Headlamps, 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 8-Way Powered Driver Seat, Cruise Control, Dual Zone Climate Controls, Bi-Xenon Headlamps and Drive Modes (Rock, Mud, Snow, Wet).

On the safety front, it gets Traction Control System, Rear Disc Brakes, Electronic Parking Brake, Reverse Parking Camera, Auto-Dimming IRVMs and Six Airbags. Compass recently got a competitor in the form of Volkswagen T-Roc which is also a compact SUV but priced high. However like Compass has its speciality for off-roading, T-Roc has its prowess on the roads.
