TVS has silently launched the BS6 Jupiter with price now starting at Rs 61,500. The updated units have started reaching dealerships.
In November, TVS launched the BS6 Jupiter Classic which is still below the top-spec Grande variant. Now, TVS has silently updated the base variants of the Jupiter with BS6 compliant engines, prices now starting at Rs 61,500 (ex-showroom).
The base-spec BS6 Jupiter has recieved a price hike of Rs 2,100 over the BS4 version. The BS6 Jupiter ZX variant is priced at Rs 63,449, seeing a hike of Rs 3,459. The top-spec Classic variant comes at a price of Rs 67,911 (all prices ex-showroom).
In comparison to BS6 Honda Activa 6G, the prices are lower by Rs 2,000. However, unlike Jupiter, Activa has received many new updates such as telescopic forks, revised styling and new digital MID with the speedometer.

The BS6 TVS Jupiter continues with the same 110cc engine that produces 7.4 BHP and 8 Nm of peak torque. The power figures are comparatively lower than the BS4 version. The inclusion of Fuel Injection as standard fitment has increased fuel efficiency by 15%.
TVS Jupiter is India’s second best selling scooter, after the Activa. The top-end Grande variant gets many premium features like a Bluetooth-connected digital speedometer, LED headlamps, front disc brake and the Econometer.
BS4 Grande goes for Rs 59,900 and once it receives the BS6 update, its price will increase to Rs 68,000. However, at the same price, TVS offers the Ntorq 125 which is more premium, sportier and loaded with even more features.

TVS recently launched their electric scooter iQube as well, priced at Rs 1.15 Lakhs (on-road Bengaluru). It gets a 2.25 kWh electric motor with a riding range of 75 kms and an achievable top speed of 78 km/hr.
