Suzuki has finally launched the BS6 compliant Intruder 150. The cleaner cruiser demands a premium of Rs 10,000 over the BS4 version.
After unveiling it at the Auto Expo 2020, Suzuki has now launched the BS6 compliant Intruder 250. It is priced at Rs 1.20 Lakhs (ex-showroom), about Rs 10,000 costlier than its BS4 version. The bookings have now commenced at dealerships and deliveries are expected to commence soon.
Other than a BS6 engine, the Suzuki Intruder 150 just gets LED headlamps as an upgrade. It retains all of its other highlights like its modern design, colours and features. Its design is inspired by the bigger 1800cc Intruder, indicating that it is a modern-day cruiser.
The engine specifications of the BS6 Intruder has not been revealed yet. It gets a 154.9cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine, that produces 13.6 PS and 13.8 Nm of torque. In comparison to the BS4 engine, the power figures have dropped by around 1 PS and 0.2 Nm. The engine gets fuel injection as standard fitment and comes paired to a 5-speed gearbox.

For suspension, Intruder uses telescopic forks at the front and swingarm suspension at the back. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both the end with single-channel ABS as standard. At the front, it gets 100/80-17M/C tyres and 140/60R17M/C tyres at the back.
The bike weighs 152 kgs, which is still lighter than other cruisers that we have. Intruder gets a fuel tank capacity of 11 litres, and with an estimated mileage of 40 kmpl, the riding range should be anywhere between 450 – 500 kilometres.
