Changes on the BS6 Ignis include new front grille, refreshed bumpers and a new scuff plate. The Delta variant gets roof spoilers, roof rails and body cladding as standard. Inside the cabin there just one change, a new touchscreen infotainment system.
It gets a 1.2 Litre K12B BS6 compliant petrol engine. The motor produces 83 BHP and 113 Nm of peak torque, while mated to a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AGS. Ignis Diesel was discontinued back in 2018 owing to its near pricing with Swift and Baleno diesel.
Ignis is a crosshatch, inspired by the looks of a modern SUV but with dimensions of a hatch. It goes against the likes of Mahindra KUV100, which is also a micro-SUV. However, both the models have failed to generate desired sales numbers.
