A new media report has leaked the prices of BS6 Mahindra XUV300 Diesel, which is likely to be priced starting at Rs 8.69 Lakhs.
Mahindra has launched the BS6 compliant XUV300 petrol and its deliveries have also commenced. However, it has been nearly four months since the BS6 petrol was launched. Now, the prices of the BS6 Diesel have been revealed completely.
Mahindra has silently launched the BS6 XUV300 Diesel. the BS6 Diesel variants will start off at Rs 8,69,130 going up to Rs 12,69,001 (ex-showroom). Here are the variant wise detailed prices:

As seen, the prices are almost the same as that of BS4 XUV300 Diesel. The highest price hike is observed on the W6 AMT variant, that too just Rs 900. As for the top-spec W8 (O) AMT variant, the prices are literally the same as earlier.
Keeping these prices in mind, Mahindra has done a fantastic job in keeping the prices in control. XUV300 was one of the costliest SUVs in its class, but now, it has everyone at its par. BS6 Mahindra XUV300 Petrol starts off at Rs 8.30 Lakhs up to Rs 11.94 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
Under the hood, you get a 1.5 Litre four-cylinder diesel engine. The engine produces 115 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 300 Nm @ 1,500-2,500 rpm. As earlier, the transmission options will include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed AMT.
Features onboard the XUV300 include Electric sunroof, cruise control, 60:40 rear split seat, steering mounted audio and voice controls, electric tailgate release, dual-zone climate control, 17.78cm touchscreen infotainment system, Rain-Sensing Wipers, Tyre Position Display and much more.
Safety features include front and rear parking sensors, rear parking camera, ESP with roll-over mitigation, hill start assist, corner braking controls, all-disc brakes and heated ORVMs. XUV300 provides a very tough challenge to Venue in terms of features.

XUV300 will soon get a Sportz variant which will be the most powerful in its class. It will come with a 1.2 Litre three-cylinder mStallion turbo-petrol engine, that produces 130hp and 230Nm of torque. That’s nearly 20 BHP more than its regular petrol variant. The motor will come mated to a 6-speed MT only and the Sportz trim will just get some cosmetic changes.
