Hyundai has started the deliveries of BS6 Venue Diesel across the country. It gets a new 1.5 Litre four-cylinder diesel engine from the Seltos.
Hyundai has discontinued the 1.4 Litre U2 CRDI diesel engine from i20 and Venue. This engine also came on the base variants of Creta and Verna. Next month, they will also pull out the bigger 1.6-litre diesel engine, both due to BS6 norms.
All the four Hyundai models will get the new 1.5 Litre diesel engine from Seltos. However, for Venue and i20, the engine will be detuned to produce lower power figures. Hyundai has already launched the BS6 Venue with the new 1.5 Litre diesel engine.
Alongside, the deliveries of BS6 Hyundai Venue Diesel have also commenced. The bookings began three weeks ago but the updated SUV was launched last week. Here is another look at the revised price list of BS6 Venue:

The power figures are yet to be revealed officially. But as per our guess is right, the engine should produce around 95 BHP and 220 Nm of peak torque. In comparison, the 1.4L diesel engine produces 90 BHP and 224 Nm of peak torque. The engine, like earlier, will come mated to a 6-speed MT.
The other two engines will remain the same with a 1.2 Litre four-cylinder petrol and the popular 1.0 Litre three-cylinder turbo petrol. The turbo engine with Venue has commenced the use of this engine on other Hyundai cars too. Till now, Aura and Grand i10 Nios are equipped with the same but detuned version of the 1.0 L Turbo motor.
In terms of features, the BS6 Hyundai Venue has not received any change. It gets electric sunroof, cruise control, air-purifier, wireless charger, automatic climate control, rear AC Vents, touchscreen infotainment system with Blue Link technology and much more.
