Honda has officially revealed the prices of BS6 WRV. It continues with the same engine and gearbox options with slightly lower fuel efficiency.
After teasing it for over 3 months, Honda has finally launched the BS6 WRV in India. The crossover is now available in two variants priced from Rs 8.49 Lakhs up to Rs 10.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The bookings have already commenced some time back and probably, in a couple of weeks, the deliveries will also commence.
Under the hood, it continues with the same 1.2 Litre petrol and 1.5 Litre diesel engines. The petrol engine produces the same 90 PS and 110 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The diesel unit is good for 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque with a 6-speed MT. Like earlier, there’s no automatic gearbox offered.

Now, the BS6 Honda WRV comes in two variants – SV and VX. The base S and V variants have been snubbed together for the SV variant. The VX continues to remain the top-spec trim, loaded with all the bells and whistles. In comparison, the prices have increased by up to Rs Here is the variant wise pricing structure:
Petrol | Diesel | |
SV MT | Rs 849,900 | Rs 979,900 |
VX MT | Rs 969,900 | Rs 10,99,900 |
The SV trim is basically based on the V trim that came with the BS4 diesel model. That makes SV more practical, feature-rich for an even cheaper price. The SV variant comes with rear parking camera, dual airbags, 17.7 cm touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and alloy wheels. However, it misses out on the electric sunroof, cruise control, push-button start-stop, LED headlamps and Smart Key with Remote, which comes on the VX variant.

The fuel efficiency of the BS6 Honda WRV has gone down by a small margin. While the BS4 petrol engine gave out 17.5 kmpl, the updated unit claims to offer 16.5 kmpl. As for the diesel, it now offers 23.7 kmpl instead of 25.5 kmpl. New elements on the crossover include LED headlamps, new tail lamps, slightly revised front portion and different alloy wheels.
WRV goes against the likes of Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Maruti Vitara Brezza and Ford EcoSport. Among these, WRV is the cheapest one that you can buy with the same amount of comfort and space. It is available with a choice of 6 colour options: Premium Amber Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Golden Brown Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic and Platinum White Pearl.
