BS6 Honda Activa 6G makes its debut in India with many big changes. It gets fuel injection as standard, with prices starting at Rs 63,912 (ex-showroom).
Honda has launched the next generation of India’s best selling scooter. Honda Activa 6G has now been launched with a BS6 compliant engine and many big upgrades. The scooter now looks a bit like the bigger Activa 125.
BS6 Honda Activa 6G will come in two variants – Standard And Deluxe – priced at Rs 63,912 and 64,512 (ex-showroom prices). Inclusion of the BS6 engine has increased the prices by around Rs 7,500 on both the variants.
The 109.51cc engine of the Activa 6G now gets fuel injection as standard fitment. The power figures have slightly dropped down to 7.79 BHP and 8.79 Nm of peak torque. It also gets the new silent start system which recently came on the Activa 125.

With changes to the engine, the fuel efficiency of BS6 Honda Activa 6G is now higher by 10%. The estimated mileage on paper should be around 65-66 kmpl now. The total riding range of the scooter will be around 300 kms on a full tank.
New features onboard include a new cluster with average fuel economy and riding range status, pass-light switch, external fuel filler cap, engine start-stop switch and an Integrated Dual Function Switch for opening the boot and fuel cap from the space switch.
There’s another major change in the mechanical side. Activa 6G finally gets telescopic forks at the front replacing the age-old hydraulic unit. At the back, it gets a 3-step adjustable monoshock. Drum brakes are offered as standard fitment with CBS. Also, the scooter now runs on larger 12-inch wheels instead of 10-inch wheels.

Honda is offering a special 6-year warranty package (3 years standard + 3 years optional extended warranty) on BS-VI Activa 6G. Further, it will be available in colour options including Glitter Blue Metalic, Pearl Spartan Red, Dazzle Yellow Metallic, Black, Pearl Precious White & Matte Axis Grey Metallic).
